We thank our friend, Rick, for getting us started with karaoke. We met him several years back at WeFest. He had set-up his
entire karaoke system at his campsite and was playing for anyone that wanted to come and sing. Barry loved it! That next Christmas, Barry came home with a new karaoke player for a "family" Christmas present, which was funny since he was the only one that would sing. In time, that changed and we all started trying it out (some of us secretly when no one else was home). We slowly started adding to our library of songs and adding to our equipment. After a few years and lots of dollars we thought it might be fun to run karaoke professionally. We had been watching Rick do it for years and it was always a good time!
We started out doing some karaoke parties and tried out a few different venues. We finally found what we were looking for at LaFonda's. We started there on Friday, November 4th, 2005 and have had so much fun ever since then. We added the Legion in Apple Valley in January 2008 and love the crowd that comes out to sing with us every week. We thank everyone that has been so supportive of us!!
